

To The RescueThe ear splitting shrieking of my pager wakes me up. I instantly get up and begin throwing on clothes. I can feel my heart beat increase as a spike of adrenaline enters my blood. I try to listen to the message but most of it gets lost in the rush to get prepared. I pull my ever ready boots on before the message finishes. I grab my keys and run out my door. I jump down the steps and land hard; my heavy boots make a dull thud as I land and I start running once again. I jump into my car and slam it into reverse as soon as the engine comes to life.
